SELF-LIGATING BRACES FOR MAXIMUM COMFORT AND SHORTER TREATMENT TIME

EMPOWER® SELF-LIGATING BRACES

At Holbert Family Orthodontics, we are pleased to offer Empower® Self-Ligating Braces to maximize patient comfort and shorten treatment duration. The Empower® Self-Ligating brackets are manufactured in both metal and clear materials so patients have a choice of finish during their treatment. Dr. Holbert has a high level of experience in correcting orthodontic issues with Empower® Self-Ligating braces. The self-ligating braces system can be used to treat the same orthodontic conditions as traditional metal braces. They are specially designed to help you reach your smile goals faster, with greater comfort and with high-quality results.

HOW DO SELF-LIGATING BRACES WORK?

Empower® Self-Ligating braces are placed on the teeth in the same way that traditional metal braces are placed. Each bracket has a special clip mechanism that holds the archwire in place so there is no need for elastics. The clip mechanism creates less friction between the bracket and the wire and provides a reduced, yet consistent, amount of force on the teeth throughout orthodontic treatment. The innovative technology engineered into the brackets gives Dr. Holbert more control over the torque and rotation of each tooth. This advantage allows patients to obtain a beautiful, healthy smile a little sooner than traditional braces.

EMPOWER® SELF-LIGATING BRACES ARE MADE IN THE USA

Empower® Self-Ligating braces are made right here in the USA. These braces are made in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, which means you can count on the consistent and exceptional quality you deserve while getting your picture perfect smile!

THE BENEFITS OF SELF-LIGATING BRACES

With tie-less, self-ligating braces, patients can experience many benefits that make this treatment the right choice for a busy lifestyle. Some benefits of the Empower® self-ligating braces system include:

  • More efficient tooth movement: Empower® braces offer faster and more accurate tooth movement, promising shorter treatment times and better outcomes!

  • Shorter treatment time: Empower technology offers faster and more efficient results, meaning less time in braces!

  • Fewer orthodontic visits: Due to innovative clip mechanism technology, treatment with Empower requires less time in our office. We understand that our patients live busy lives, and this braces treatment is as convenient as possible.

  • Greater comfort: Self-ligating braces are more made with a special clip mechanism that causes less friction between the bracket and the wire. This means less discomfort for the patient!

  • Brackets are smaller and less noticeable: Some patients may hesitate to start orthodontic treatment because of the look of bulky metal brackets. Patients enjoy a more discrete look with self-ligating braces, making it a popular alternative to traditional braces!

  • Better hygiene: Diligently practicing good oral hygiene habits is important during your treatment. With less bulky brackets than other other braces, self-ligating braces are easier to clean around than traditional braces.

If you choose self-ligating braces to straighten your smile, you will experience shorter and more comfortable wire adjustment appointments. Without elastics during treatment, there will be less areas in which food debris and particles can stick. For this reason, self-ligating braces offer a more hygienic treatment option. Empower® utilizes the highest quality Metal Injection Molding technology to create robust, low-profile brackets with smooth, contoured edges that truly enhance the patient’s comfort during treatment.

This self-ligating braces system utilizes the same mechanical system, but with clear brackets. The clear brackets function just like their metal counterparts. They are less visible and provide a more discreet way to straighten your smile.
