Happy Halloween from Holbert Family Orthodontics! As you get ready to suit up for a night of fun and trick-or-treating, remember that even though you have braces you can still enjoy your candy... but try to avoid the major "braces breakers". We recommend trading your caramel, taffy, gum balls and hard candies for chocolate bars, goldfish and lollipops (sucking only). No matter what you snack on tomorrow night, remember to take time to brush REALLY well before climbing into bed. Bedtime is when the sugar-bugs come out to feast.... MwaHaHaHa!

Crazy Richmond! A high of 72 degrees yesterday and today we have single digit temps with snow. The office is closed today while Dr. Holbert attends the VCU Orthodontic Foundation Lecture with Dr. Vince Kokich Jr. Learning lots about new orthodontic techniques with braces and Invisalign. Stay safe and warm.

As another year comes to an end, we reflect on an eventful 2013. Our year began with dirt, steel and concrete as we started building our new office. Our dream became a reality in May when we moved into our new office at the corner of Gaskins and Three Chopt. It is a great space with a coffee bar, iPad gaming stations and lots more room for our patients and staff.
We feel so fortunate to have cared for so many wonderful families in 2013. While we saw many new patients get a set of braces or Invisalign clear aligners, we also said goodbye to families and children we've become close with over the years. We truly wish all of you the best in 2014. If not for our patient families we could not do what we love to do.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
