SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

GIVING BACK TO OUR RICHMOND AND NEW KENT COMMUNITIES

Dr. Holbert community involvement

Dr. Holbert is dedicated to giving back to our communities whenever he can! His community involvement includes giving back to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and businessmen.

At Holbert Family Orthodontics, we care deeply for our patients and their families, both inside and outside the office. That’s why Dr. Holbert is dedicated to giving back to our Richmond and New Kent communities whenever he can. He shows his dedication to supporting our community by promoting youth sports programing and through initiatives and programs that support wellness and healthy living for families. It also includes giving back to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and local businesses. Read on to see what we’ve been up to when it comes to supporting our community!

Holbert Family Orthodontics had a great time sponsoring the Short Pump Fun Run. We were so happy to see more than 1,000 kids participated in the 1 mile race or the 400m fun run. Every runner got a cool T-shirt, a medal and refreshments. This great community involvement event raises money for the local elementary school’s Physical Education department. Holbert Family Orthodontics congratulates Rivers Edge Elementary for having the most runners and raising $600 for their school.

The mission of Richmond Little League is to teach children the rules of baseball and softball as well as good sportsmanship, honesty, courage and respect for authority so that these character traits will grow with them into adulthood. Dr. Holbert’s  little league community involvement includes coaching as well as sponsoring Richmond Little League teams each year.

The New Kent Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization that has a mission to “channel the community’s resources to promote and enhance educational opportunities for the students and staff of NKCPS.” This year, their focus was on supporting teachers and the school system that’s been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and the impact it’s had on learning. Dr. Holbert joyfully sponsors the New Kent Educational Foundation and the Strides for Schools 5K.

For over 60 years, the Tuckahoe Little League has provided a family-friendly and safe atmosphere for children to develop the love of baseball and softball while building self-esteem and character. Dr. Holbert is proud to sponsor a team from Tuckahoe Little League each year.

Committed to the mission of honoring Christ and building character on and off stage, CharacterWorks Theatre is an after school, non-profit theater arts program for children ages 4-19. CharacterWorks Theatre is dedicated to teaching all aspects of theatre art to Richmond kids while developing family-friendly community theatre productions. Dr. Holbert has donated one comprehensive orthodontic treatment to raise money for CharterWorks Theatre.

CARITAS – WESTMINSTER
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

CARITAS is an organization that directly supports the homeless neighbors in the Greater Richmond community by providing effective and permanent solutions to help end the cycle of homelessness and addiction. Through his church, Dr. Holbert donated oral hygiene products (toothbrushes and toothpaste) for families in transition through the program.
